The mission of USA Track & Field is to foster sustained competitive excellence, interest, and participation in the sports of track & field, long distance running, and race walking. Member clubs are at the heart of this mission by provide support to athletes of all ages and abilities in the form of coaching, financial support, and athletic satisfaction. 

The focus and goals of each club are as unique and diverse as the athletes who compete for them. Some clubs focus primarily on elite development, while others specialize in youth or masters programs. Some are solely track & field clubs, while others provide support to only race walkers, throwers, or distance runners. What ever the case may be, each club is vital to the sport's future in the United States.

Club Management Area

Club leaders can look up all registered members of their club through their club portal online. In addition, club leaders can access additional club resources by clicking here.

Register or Start a Club 

All clubs must re-register at the beginning of each year. All youth coaches and volunteers must maintain their eligibility through the Coaches Registry Program. If you are starting a new club use the link above to complete your club application. 

Background Checks

USA Track & Field is committed to providing a safe environment for all athletes to compete and train. As part of this commitment it is required that all coaches and volunteers who come in contact with youth athletes during registered club practices or other club-related track and field activities, must be accepted into the USATF Registered Coaches Program 

Club Support Programs

Resources are available to clubs in the areas of elite development, the club championship series, youth travel grants, the youth development Run Jump Throw program, and the Junior Olympic program.
